Harbour Heights is a wonderful, spacious annex attached to the owner’s modern home which enjoys the most magnificent position on the cliff tops of Fishguard, above Lampit cove, right on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and offering breathtaking sea views across Fishguard Bay.
Beautifully furnished in a contemporary style, the large open-plan living space with a modern fitted, kitchen has a light and airy feel, bi-fold doors across the width of the annex maximise the stunning aspect and open to a decked balcony where you can enjoy an alfresco meal or simply stand and gaze, mesmerised by the view over the gorse clad cliffs, tranquil cove below and wonderful blue sea. The sitting area has comfortable seating and a wood burning stove to ensure you are always cosy, whatever the weather. The master bedroom also has patio doors across which open to a paved terrace offering views over the coast.
The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path runs past the end of the drive, explore this stunning coastline down to Lower Town Fishguard with its quaint harbour and on to Dinas Head and Newport or in the other direction to the rugged beauty that is Strumble Head and the picturesque coves of Aberbach and Abermawr. Wander down to the little known cove of Lampit below, not even the locals are familiar with this gem. There are excellent shops, pubs and restaurants in the bustling town of Fishguard made famous as the set for the films Moby Dick and Under Milkwood, all within walking distance including a leisure centre and local cinema, there is always something on including art, music festivals and regattas.

The property is approached via an A road. Harbour Heights annexe shares with the main house a generous plot of some 1.5 acres and enjoys a large and tarmac driveway with plenty of space for the manoeuvring and parking of cars and/or trailers, boats and camper vans. The space immediately in front of the annexe is normally allocated for guests parking. This is predominantly flat and offers greater levels of ease and convenience. Harbour Heights is a single story property, the main entrance door and all other internal and interconnecting doors have been proportioned to allow easy entry to and from the rooms. There is a small (approx. 2 inch) door threshold at the main entrance but once inside, the double and twin bedrooms, toilet and open plan kitchen/living space are all on the same ground floor level. Access on to the guests’ external decking/outdoor dining space is achieved via large bi-folding doors which are recessed at floor level. The annexe also has its own courtyard which contains a rotary clothes line. To access this area, there are two (approx. 6 inch) steps down. All light switches, power sockets and appliances have been conveniently positioned and these comply with the building regulations and guidelines. There is external lighting provided at the main entrance and the courtyard area to the side of the property. The kitchen has generous work tops and a low level oven and 4-ring induction hob. Guests are provided with a flat screen TV and DVD player (with accompanying remote controls) and a modest choice of DVD’s. There is a CD Player/radio and guests also enjoy free use of Wifi for the duration of their stay. Please note that there is no landline telephone. Harbour Heights is situated within Fishguard town boundary with easy pedestrian access to the nearby shops and town centre. Transport; A regular ferry operated by Stena Line leaves for Rosslare in Ireland from the port of Fishguard Harbour. Fishguard is served by Arriva Trains Wales from Fishguard Harbour and Fishguard and Goodwick stations. Fishguard is supported by a comprehensive town and district bus service in all north, south, and east directions. There are also half a dozen local taxi providers if heavy items need to be transferred to and from nearby ferry, bus or railway stations.
